Today I started rewatching the series and the back story of Nightmare Moon got me thinking. What not have a rp of Equestria pre Nightmare Moon? As in roleplay the events that lead up to Luna becoming Nightmare Moon?

Is there anyone interest in this idea? I kind of want to bring this idea back to life.

I could get behind this. Who are you looking for? Celestia and Luna but OC's too?

Why not turn this into a free form RP?

It will probably be mostly a Luna and Celestia RP because this would take place 1000 years ago. We could have a few OCs as well. Probably advisers, guards, ect.

Maybe we can include Discord as well. Luna and Celesita did take him down before she became Nightmare Moon.

I think so too. The show gives us these background and yet we still know little about them.

We could start with Discord causing Chaos across Equestria then after they seal him away we can have Luna's heart grow bitter. I feel like there should be more to it besides her getting angry that the citizens of Equestria sleep at night.

Well, I would like to try play as Luna. I don't how well I will do portraying her.

I could play as Celestia unless Anju wants her then I'll take Discord.

I think I'm going to sit this one out because I am creating my own RP idea but I don't care to NPC a character as needed.

I have an idea for an OC portraying Celestia and Luna's mother. I'm gloing to call her Astra. What do you guys think?

I like that idea. We could start with them being very young and becoming the rulers. So maybe this could turn into the beginning of Equestria.
