Okay so background Ponies are a big thing in the Brony fandom. So why don't we talk about them here?

My thoughts on background ponies:
I don't like them. Yes I said it. I do not like the background ponies. I really think they're overrated. Yes their designs look cool, but the fandom gives them too much hype. So I guess you can say the fandom ruin them for me. Mainly Derpy.

Honestly what is the big deal about her? Yes I find her adorable and I thought in the Ace Attorney crossover the creator made her interactions with Phoenix so freaking cute. But I dont see what's so great about her character. I thought it was silly when people over reacted to her voice in the show. Personally I like her new voice better.

I think it's because fans can mold and make background characters into who they want them to be because unlike the mane 6 they really have no personality development.

That is very true. I never looked at it that way. Regardless they're still meh to me.

I agree not a big fan of them except for Lyra.

I really don't pay that much attention to them. They're just there. I don't get all the hype either, but I see Twilight's point. I focus on the mane 6.

I kinda have this big women crush on Lyra... I just love her so much...
