The final episode of season 3 is comes out tomorrow!

Synopsis: When Twilight casts a spell that switches the Cutie Marks and destinies, the only way to reverse the spell is by writing her own magic.
Synopsis 2: "My Little Pony Friendship is Magic" follows the studious young unicorn Twilight Sparkle and her five pony friends as they teach one another about the most powerful magic of all, the magic of friendship! In the special coronation episode "Magical Mystery Cure," Twilight Sparkle accidentally casts a spell that switches the Cutie Marks and destinies of all her friends, and the only way she can reverse the spell is by writing her own magic. Little does she know that by achieving this great accomplishment, she will fulfill her destiny and emerge a princess.

I do too but I feel like if it isn't at least an hour then its going to be rushed. I felt like last weeks episode was rushed making it one of my least favorites.

I know Hub is making a big deal of it so hopefully it's an hour long.

I don't think I'll enjoy the episode much if it's just the standard time, like discord's episode. Btw, who else here thinks that Discord will have a part to play in this?

The episode was meh to me. It needed to be an hour long. Everything felt way too rush. I enjoyed the songs though.

Haha I loved the liquid pride line too. XD

I just felt meh while watching the whole episode maybe because I thought the episode would play out different? I feel like they should have saved this for the beginning of season 4. That way it would have two parts and everything wouldn't feel so rush. Also while I did love the songs they were back to back and there wasn't a lot of dialogue in the episode. I feel like the episode would have benefit from from dialogue.

Felt rushed. I feel torn. I liked the episode but I can't help but think of the plot holes. WHERE WAS DISCORD?! Honestly I thought he would have played a part, or at least made a cameo. The sequence of events were too close together and I thought it would have gone better if there was more of an adventure.

It looked as if Twilight was playing on easy mode when she got those wings. Overall I liked the episode, but it just felt rushed. Now comes the painstaking wait for the 4th season.

I felt the same way too Ghostie! It felt meh, but yet I liked it. Strange feeling.

I wish they made this into a two part episode. The first episode being the part where she helps her friends become themselves again and disappearing. Great cliff hanger and then next episode was going into detail about her coronation.
However cute episode and love the new songs. It felt like two episodes super short and merged together.
But woot Twilight is a princess!

I know we just got a new layout but on this occasion it would be more fitting for the forum to have all 4 princess ponies now. lol Sorry just a thought, but the new layout is super cute too. :)

Maybe the episode had an okay pacing since it was a musical episode. I have forgotten that you need to view musicals differently. So I'm going to rewatch this episode with a different mind set now.

Well... looking at it at that perspective, I guess it makes sense. I'm just not used to musicals though, and my rping experience had set my mind that the whole thing needed more of a story, which is not always necessary so long as you made the story awesome as it is. I'll watch the episode again if I get the time.

Also, having read this, I can say that the start of the episode was justified.

Well, after rewatching the episode I can say the episode was nicely pace for a musical. Like the guy in the video I posted stated you can feel the emotions of the characters during the songs. That's the point of musicals. The plot and emotions of the characters are shown in a song. So each song in this episode explains everything:

1. Morning in Ponyville: This opening song establishes that day the started out like any other day in Ponyville. The morning is beautiful and the ponies are doing their daily routines. Then the song ends with Twilight getting splash by water. As the viewer we expect like Twilight that Rainbow is playing a prank on her however that is not the case because we end up seeing Rarity controlling the weather. This establishes that there is something wrong.

2. What my Cutie Mark is Telling Me: Okay so Twilight goes off to see Rainbow Dash to see why Rarity has Dash's cuite mark. This song establishes that mane 6 (minus Twi) suck at their talents, but they know have no choice, but to do the jobs they were given. Also the viewer can tell that they have no memories of having different cutie marks. This song really does a good job establishing the problem. There is no need to slow things down here to show each of the girl's sucking at their jobs. By the way this my favorite song in the episode. It's so damn catchy >.<

3. I've Got to Find A Way: This song establishes that Twilight can't believe that the spell she cast has screw up her friends' lives. She's lost and confused. It's a nice soft song and shows Twilight's pain. There really is no need to have Twilight mope round before she does anything to help her friends. Is it me or does song reminds you of a pop song?

4. A True, True Friend: God this song is catchy. Anyway this song establishes that Twilight's plan to have her friends realize their true talents work. Most can argue that Twilight usually has to go through trail and error before she finds solution. However since this is a musical there is no need for Twilight to go through trial and error. Also the solution is kind of obvious. Back to the song the montages throughout the song is awesome. My favorite part when AJ shows Pinkie that she needs to make the townfolk smile. When Pinkie gets her memories back and says tells everypony that she wants to see them smile and the town screams out her name, I get chocked up. I have no idea way I just to do. One more thing this song is the reason why I am glad it's a musical. If it wasn't it would have gotten old to watch Twilight go to friends to remind them of their talents one by one. The song has nice fast pace to keep Twilight's plan fresh.

Celestia's Ballad: Oh, god Celesita gets to sing. How awesome is that? Anyway, it's nice soft song that establishes Twilight's growth as a character. Also this song is beautiful animated. Anyway it's great that Celesita and Twi walk past clips from past episode. If this wasn't a musical we may have gotten flashbacks. My only nipick here is how did Celesita gets clips of Twilight thinking of getting sent back to magic kindergarten and her flashback of remembering Cadence as her foul sitter? Oh, plot holes.

Behold, Princess Twilight Sparkle: Haha there isn't much I can say about this song. It has a churchy feel to it and I like it. This song establishes yeah that's right Twilight is a princess now!

Life In Equestria: A nice song to close up the episode. It establishes that no matter what that life in Equestria is great and that no matter what occurs everything will be fine. I wish it was little bit longer though.

So yeah! I did a small overview of each song. I am glad that this episode was a musical instead of two part episode. We would have gotten musical episode eventually.

Kinda sad this is the last season episode. I want to watch more. :/
