Here is a little oneshot I wrote about Spike helping Rarity. Ed, gave me a challenge to write a one shot about these two. XD It's really basic and is just Rarity and Spike fluff. I don't really ship these two, but it turned out to be fluff as I was writing it. XD Plus I really didn't brainstorm before writing it. I just let the words flow as I was typing it. Enjoy!

One morning Spike woke up and quickly got out of his basket. He rushed downstairs to the library and saw Twilight reading a book. He said a quick morning and hurried out the door ignoring her question about why he was up early. Spike closed the front door behind him and headed over to Carousel Boutique. He was in a rush to get over there because yesterday Rarity told him that she needed his help for today.
When he got to the store, Spike opened the front door and saw Rarity placing gems on a dress that she was making. He took a deep breath to pump out his chest to impress the mare. Spike then walked over to her.
“Good Morning, Rarity,” he said to her
“Ah, Spike, you’re finally here,” said Rarity and turned around to greet him with a smile.
“So what do you need help with?” he asked her. “Are we searching for gems?”
“No, I have plenty in stock.”
“Then what is it?”
“You see yesterday Fancy Pants brought in a friend of his to show her my shop. While, she was looking at my outfits, she said that I lacked style and creativity. So, Spike to prove her wrong I have design a very unique outfit.”
“So what does this have to do with me?”
“You are going to be my model.”
“I am?” question Spike. He didn’t seem too excited about dressing up.
“Yes! I asked everypony yesterday, but they said they were too busy. So please Spike you are my only hope,” said the young mare and batted her eyes at the baby dragon.
Spike just smiled and with his eyes his eyes he said, “Of course.”
“Good! I’m glad you agree. Now I will be right back,” Rarity said Spike and walked off to get the outfit.
Spike stood there and watched the mare leave the room. He was a slight daze and felt like he was walking on cloud nine. When, Rarity returned he saw the outfit being carried by her magic. It was a black kimono with red spots on it.
“Now, this isn’t the final product. There are accessories that go with it, but before I get you dressed up. I need to dye your scales to the match the color of the kimono.”
As she was talking Spike was still in a daze and nodded his head. But when Rarity brought up dying his scales, he snapped out his daze. He grabbed a hold his tale and took a step back.
“Dye my scales?” He question alarmed. “Why is that necessary?”
“To match the kimono! You’re purple scales will throw it off. Plus we will need to dye the green scales on her head and back red.”
“No way!!”
“Oh, but Spike,” said Rarity and gave him a puppy dog pout. “Please I must prove to Fancy Pants's friend that I can design clothes.”
Spike wince and said, “Alright.”
“Oh, wonderful!! When this is all over, I will give you a gem for your help”
“Really?”
“Yes now, please follow me to the bathroom,” she said as she placed the kimono on a rack of clothes. They then walked over to the bathroom and Rarity turned on the light with her magic. “Please get in the tub.”
Spiked obey and got into the tub. Rarity then got out two bottles of dye from the medicine cabinet and placed the bottles on the rim of the tub.
“It will come off, right?” asked Spike.
“Of course it will. Now, hold still. I’m going to start with the red dye,” she replied to Spike and then lifted the red bottle with her magic. She carefully poured the dye on the green scales making sure the dye didn’t drip onto the purple scales. Once she dyed the green scales, she began to dye his purple scales black. After dying his scales, Spike had to stay still for about 15 minutes for the colors to set.
Once 15 minutes were up, Rarity and Spike returned to the front of the shop and she had him stand on the stage that was in front of the mirrors. She then got him dressed up in the kimono and fixed it up so it fit him right. She then placed the accessories on him to make look like an Eastern dragon.
“Prefect!” cried Rarity.
Spiked turned around and saw himself the mirror. He nodded his head and approval.
The two then heard the bells of the front door chime and saw Fancy Pants’s friend walked into the store. Rarity greeted her and she then showed her the outfit that Spike was wearing. The friend was impressed and took back about what she said yesterday. She then left the store.
Rarity clapped her hoofs happily and ran over to Spike. She then gave him a big hug. “Thank you so much, Spike!!”
Spike said nothing due to being stunned from Rarity’s hug. When she let go him, he melted away from happiness. She just giggled and went to go get a gem for his help.
