| LONG, LONELY ROADLLR takes the title 'Forum Games' a bit literally, allowing you to forge an adventure of your own CYOA-style by posting commands for the main character to follow. Your goal will be whatever you want it be- will you travel to the edges of the world seeking treasure or adventure, or will you stay home and take up knitting? The choice is yours- but remember, popularity of a choice beats speed. - Skills:
LLR takes on an RPG style of play, with numeric skills that can be built up with practice, and can in handy during combat, conversations, or what have you. Note that you don't have to read about all of them- they're all pretty self-explanatory.
Strength effects the effectiveness of a character's physical attacks. It can also be used against certain obstacles. Lumber basically makes your character a tank- slow, but nearly unstoppable, ready to serve an onslaught of brutal attacks. Tolerance is a character's emotional and mental self-control, allowing them to resist temptation and utilize better spells. Willpower is like Tolerance, but physical- allowing the character to take more hits without getting exhausted or getting knocked out. Charisma is your ability to communicate with other ponies, and your speed at persuading them or gaining their trust. Wit determines your ability to manipulate other ponies, to meet your own ends, or just to sneak past them. Finesse trades brute force for the ability to dance around the battlefield, dealing hits while staying out of reach. Witchcraft is your effectiveness in the arts of magic. It allows you to have more special abilities, and use them more often. Alchemy is your ability to conjure something new out of nothing- for example, to spin gold out of straw. Itemcraft is your ability to create your own equipment, out of the materials you find on your adventures. Intelligence is your character's ability to learn intellectual skills and master special attacks.
Now, your first choice to kick off the story will be- what kind of pony will the main character be? Optionally, you can also define the character's name, appearance, etc., but if you don't it will be decided for you. EARTH PONYDefault Abilities: Iron Buck, Natural Powerhouse, Green ThumbEarth ponies, while commonly dismissed, are undoubtedly the strongest of the three types. While lacking in the fields of flight or magic, physically they can be near impenetrable tanks with iron muscle and steel will. They are not restricted to their physical prowess, either- crafty Earth ponies can use their abilities to unleash devastating special attacks on their foes. Skills Positively Effected: +Strength, +Willpower, +Lumber Skills Negatively Effected: -Finesse, -Intelligence, -Witchcraft PEGASUSDefault Abilities: Power Slam, Airborne, Wintertide FleshThe Pegasi are a noble and proud people, renowned for their control over the weather. Agile and swift, they fly nimbly around the battlefield, dealing brutal attacks without even taking a single hit. However, they have no resistance against the hits they do take, and their attacks, while fast, are also rather weak. Skills Positively Effected: +Itemcraft, +Finesse, +Charisma Skills Negatively Effected: -Lumber, -Strength, -ToleranceUNICORNDefault Abilities: Cerebral Lift, Fire Ball, TelekinesisUnicorns store massive magical potential in their horns, which they can release- in limited amounts, in any way they favor. This class lacks physical aptitude completely- however, they have a large armor of special attacks, making this both the most effective type of pony in combat, but also the hardest to play as. Skills Positively Effected: +Witchcraft, +Tolerance, +Intelligence Skills Negatively Effected: -Strength, -Willpower, -FinesseItem Sprites from the Spriter's Resource, from games like

| You’ve taken the role of York Minute, a humble mare living a humble life on the outskirts of Manehattan. There aren’t many ponies in your town, but of all of them, you can say with near certainty that you were the least relevant. Your greatest bane, in your eyes, would have to be your Cutie Mark. It’s shape is just a bunch of conjoined arrows pointing away from eachother, which is mysterious enough by itself. However, what’s frustrating is you don’t know what it means, or how you got it. All you knew is that you had forgotten one whole day of your life, and found the mark the next day. Without knowledge of your special talent, you were forced to live your life simply doing odd jobs. With the limited opportunities presented in this small town, its proven near impossible for you to rediscover your special talent. You’ve decided your only chance was to move to a better town. Your initial choice was Canterlot, but that place is neigh impenetrable to ponies like you. Then you decided upon Ponyville- from what you’ve heard, it’s both very welcoming to small-town newcomers, as well as full of all sorts of opportunities. Your only problem is that the only way you could ever get there was by train, and to buy a ticket to get you that far would take you at least 150 bits. You could either do some jobs around town to make the money, or you could visit your friend- Clean Sweep- to see if she has any ideas. - Inventory:

| - Rarity:
You decided that any amount of time you spent asking your friend questions will only waste time that could be spent finding the answers yourself. Thus, you started patrolling the town, hunting for opportunity. It wasn’t too hard- as even in a town as small as this, there's still always work that needs doing. While you passed through town, you noticed some ponies that seemed concerned or overworked- a baker and an alchemist, respectively- that you could probably convince to let you help them out, but it most likely won’t pay too much. You then checked the board by the tavern where all sorts of jobs could be found. The first ones that struck your eyes were the bounties- bounty hunting was dangerous, but high-paying. The only other interesting one you saw on the board was an advertisement to have potions and spelled tested on you. That one was really high-paying, but also really, really sketchy. Which job do you decide to choose- do you help the baker or alchemist, go bounty hunting, or get work testing potions? - Inventory:

You've taken the role of Sprightly, a pegasus who both loves and hates her home in Cloudsdale. You can't complain about your flying ability- it's always enough to get by. But even that just doesn't seem to be enough for their forces, and you've realized that Cloudsdale has decided it doesn't need you- and you've decided you don't need Cloudsdale. You're currently doing work monitoring the weather around Ponyville. From what you could tell, most of the official weatherwork in this town was done by a single insanely skilled worker, but she ran into a brick wall at mach speeds, so a small group was sent in to take her place clearing the skies while she recovers. You've been trusted with a small portion of the northwestern part of town. It was inactive and boring at first, but it hasn't been so bad since you've learned to just talk to the local residents of the town while waiting for some action. From your experience, it is a pretty nice town- and this might be your last chance to figure out a way to stay here. You could probably make the move if you could manage to gather 150 bits or so, but where would you get all that money? Perhaps you could do some odd jobs around town... but you still doubted you would ever be able to find the cash in time. You were standing near the town square, shirking work as usual. You could use the money you already had to go shopping, or go to the inn to find ways to make even more bits. Or you could just stand around and try to make friends. - Inventory:

You've taken the role of Chapter'n Verse, a Unicorn who's every fulfillment just makes her feel less fulfilled. You are passionate about and dedicated to the arts of magic and witchcraft, but you only ever feel like you're only catching up to your peers- never learning anything new, or contributing anything worthwhile. You've decided, however, that this all changes today. Just a couple days ago, you found a very complex potion recipe hidden away in a chest deep in the forest. You've checked the archives, and you've found that this spell has not yet been recorded. You considered telling someone about it, but you decided to study it for yourself. You're not sure what it does- all you know is that it bestows the drinker a great power, which peeked your interest enough to consider gathering the materials for the recipe. It wasn't going to be an easy task, though- while most of the ingredients were relatively easy to get, the only one you couldn't get would be a dragon scale. You've searched every shop you can find so far for one, but no luck. Should you go to the town square and see if you can find a shop that stocks such a rare item, or should you head to the nearby mountains and see if you can find one by yourself? - Inventory:

You decided to head to the inn, in search of more bits. You didn't expect there to be any jobs that would give you anywhere near the amount of money you need, but you still did some asking around to see if you could make some extra bits. To your surprise, you heard that they're looking for recruits to help out in an expedition into the depths of the Everfree forest, in search of a lost temple after extensive evidence pointed to it being located there. That sounded excited... but best of all, it offered 100 bits if you actually found the temple! It did sound really dangerous, though, and you probably wouldn't even find the temple. The second job you heard about was similarly adventurous. After a bit of research into the intricacies of dark magic went wrong, a strange portal opened and sucked the researchers inside to an unknown land, and they were offering 100 bits to whoever went in and brought them back. That sounded equally exciting, and equally dangerous. Do you choose to pursue one of these jobs, or do you search around for something easier, albeit lesser-paying? - Inventory:
